Tide Walk is a short 5-minute stroll from a small cove off Linekin Bay in
East Boothbay.  Two bedrooms, two baths, for weekly vacation rental.

Tide Walk is not on the water but is located just a 5-minute stroll from our pebble beach on the cove where the water warms in summer as it comes in over sun-drenched pebbles making it more pleasant for swimming.  It is a small, safe cove where the children can spend hours in and out of the water exploring and searching out the creatures that abound along the Maine coast.  The Maine State Aquarium, http://www.maine.gov/dmr/rm/aquarium, is located in Boothbay Harbor and is open from Memorial Day until Columbus day.  You can go there to find out what to search for when you come back to our cove.

This little inlet is also a great place to store and launch your kayaks or ours. By signing our release you will have the use of our personal kayaks and our row boat on a haul out. Linekin Bay is wonderful for kayaking with lots of coastline to explore and no rivers emptying into it, thus no strong currents. If you have need of a deep water mooring for your own boat, we can do that as well.

Tide Walk is a two bedroom cape, with a full set of stairs to the  bedrooms.   On the main floor enter the living room which expands into a large open kitchen and sliding glass door to the back deck and foliage beyond.  The center work island makes the kitchen functional for multiple uses.  A short hall leads to the good sized downstairs bathroom and also to a sitting area or den toward the front of the house.  Upstairs are the bedrooms, one on either side with another ample bathroom including a tub/shower.  We are permitted to sleep four people; children count as people for both rates and occupancy.

Should you tire of the quiet and seclusion of our spot, you can avail yourselves of the activities in bustling Boothbay Harbor just three miles away including boat excursions, varied shops, and gourmet restaurants. There are also several quaint harbors with lobster boats that you won’t want to miss; Cozy Harbor on Southport Island, and Little River just down the road from us, plus New Harbor on the Pemaquid Peninsula. The Boothbay Region Land Trust, www.bbrlt.org, has many hiking trails to offer on their preserves. You’ll want to be sure to see our renowned Coastal Maine Botanical Garden, www.mainegardens.org.

Come explore this microcosm of the Maine mid-coast while Tide Walk is available.  As you will discover, it is not necessary to do much traveling once you arrive, because the Soul of the Coast can be experienced right close-by on the Boothbay peninsula.
